TRIM-LIFE® Program

The TRIM-LIFE® Program is designed for individuals who have tried multiple diet plans and discovered that diets alone don’t work. Rather than focusing on restriction, TRIM-LIFE® provides an alternative approach that helps uncover the underlying emotional eating patterns that may have been present throughout your life.

Many people are able to lose weight and maintain it for weeks, months, or even years. However, when a powerful emotional trigger appears—such as the loss of a loved one, a job change, a divorce, or other major stressor—the weight can return seemingly overnight. TRIM-LIFE® guides participants in identifying these emotional triggers and unhealthy eating patterns and supports them in transforming these habits where they originate: in the subconscious mind.

The updated TRIM-LIFE® Program, designed by The Wellness Institute in collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic’s Integrative Medicine Program, includes:

  • Six weekly sessions, each 2 hours long

  • Six additional weekly support sessions, 1 hour each, following program completion

  • A program book, workbook, and audio recordings (provided on CD or jump drive)

  • Options for group sessions or individual sessions (individual sessions are offered at a higher rate)
